Enter The Tie Bar and their recent collaboration with Camp Wandawega, the iconic lakeside retreat in Elkhorn, Wisconsin.

The newly launched Camp Wandawega x Tie Bar Long Weekend Collection adds a touch of chic to any campsite look, seamlessly blending classic elegance with a hint of nostalgic camp charm.

“Camp Wandawega is one my very favorite places and Tereasa Surratt is a brilliant collaborator that I have worked with in the past,” said Michelle Kohanzo, President of Tie Bar. “I loved the idea of juxtaposing formal menswear with the laid back, layered history of camp.”

The collab has tapped heavily into the nostalgia of summer camp, and has managed to simultaneously capture the essence of camp living and the skill of dressing stylishly.

The 50-piece collection  features a range of accessories ($22- $78 each) including neckties, shoelaces, socks, bow ties, silk pocket squares, bandanas, cufflinks, and unique tie bars all designed in Chicago. The designs utilize vintage artwork as well as very intentional choice of iconogrpahy, making the collection true to the northwoods of Wisconsin.

“We spent a lot of time at camp honing in on the details we wanted to feature,” explained Kohanzo. “Everything from the rich color palette, to the ties inspired by the patterned congolium floors were elements that we utilized to bring the collection to life.”

The collection is unique and fresh, and there’s a little something for everyone, from a subtle pocket square with pheasant detail to a klein blue tie with a hunting dog, continued Kohanzo. But the camp map bandana has perfectly captured both brands.  “It is based on a cotton bandana from Wandawega’s camp store, but elevated in a beautiful silk with handrolled edges.”
