The red carpet at LA’s iconic Beverly Hilton dazzled on Sunday night as Hollywood’s elite gathered for the 82nd Golden Globe Awards. And if one thing was clear, it’s that gold wasn’t just reserved for the trophies—it dominated the fashion scene.

From the glistening scales of “Anora” star Mikey Madison’s Bottega Veneta gown to Ariana Grande’s show-stopping 1960s Givenchy archive piece, metallic gold hues reigned supreme. Demi Moore brought architectural drama in a sculptural Armani Privé ensemble, and of course, Cate Blanchett once again proved her sartorial prowess in a custom Louis Vuitton creation adorned with intricate gold beadwork.

But gold wasn’t the only metallic having a moment. Angelina Jolie shimmered in a silver-beaded Alexander McQueen design, and Nicole Kidman turned heads in an iridescent silver Balenciaga gown.

While neutrals and metallics led the pack, bold pops of color had their own spotlight. Dakota Fanning made a striking statement in a strapless crimson Dolce & Gabbana gown featuring a daring thigh-high slit. Ali Wong (in Balenciaga), Sheryl Lee Ralph (in custom St. John), and Emma Stone (in Louis Vuitton) each showcased their own shade of red, ranging from vibrant ruby to deep burgundy.

The men of the evening weren’t about to be outshined either. The incredible Coleman Domingo stood impeccably in Valentino, while Timothée Chalamet brought his signature flair, casually knotting his Tom Ford tie like a scarf and wearing the first Heider Ackerman for Tom Ford garb. And then there was our number one boi Jeremy Strong, who sparked debate with a velvet bucket hat that—love it or hate it—had everyone talking.

From gilded gowns to daring accessories, the Golden Globes 2025 red carpet delivered a masterclass in Hollywood glamour with just the right touch of risk-taking flair.
