Badgley & Mischka On Hollywood Glamour, Red Carpets and More

Mark Badgley and James Mischka made a personal appearance at the newly renovated fine apparel department of Neiman Marcus on Michigan Avenue, and shared their Spring 2014 collection with Chicago’s finest during a glamourous fashion show Thursday night. Inspired by 1920s photographs of Jacques Henri Lartigue and women lounging around the French Riviera, the Badgley Mischka lineup took us from the beach, to a yacht to a glamourous gala, in silhouettes inspired by the early 20th century.

Known for their couture-like evening wear and luxurious fabrics, we caught up with Badgley and Mischka for an exclusive interview where they shared thoughts on being pegged as Hollywood darlings, their favorite red carpet moment, and why young designers should get as much experience as possible before venturing into their own business.
