5 Milan Fashion Week Fall 2018 Trends You Don’t Want to Miss

All right guys, we know know what trends came from New York and London, so let’s take a look at what the Italians had in mind. because many would say that Italians do it better. Is this true for Fall 2018? Let’s find out:

Unusual Accessories

When was the last time you saw a baby dragon, a severed head, or a puppy as an accessory?  That’s right, Gucci started the trend with imitation dragons, freaky heads and plastic snakes adorning model’s hands. Over at Dolce & Gabbana we saw a model holding a teddy bear,  but we can definitely get behind the puppy trend, which swept the runway of Tod’s.

Neon Lights

Leave it to Miuccia Prada to create a trend. Hot pinks and lime greens took over the Prada runway, but the bright colors also popped elsewhere — namely Sportmax and Versace. So dig through the old clothes bin of your mom, and find that florescent sweater. You’ll be on trend.

Leather Trenchcoats

Yes, yes and YES! The most badass trend out of Milan this season is the resurgence of leather in its best form — the trench coat. Tod’s, Salvatore Ferragamo and Roberto Cavalli all showed their version of the trend.

Fur Galore

Fur was seen everywhere in Milan. Whether you are into real or faux fur, there was a little something for everyone. But fur was represented in unexpected ways: at Fendi via cozy sweatshirts, which are sure to light the street style set on fire. And over at Jill Sander, a model wore a full furry suit set.

Check-Mate, in Brown

Brown checks were seen across many a runways in Milan, and the most prominent way was onto coats. Fendi, Marco de Vincenzo and Aigner were some of our favorites.

We are almost at the end of yet another Fashion Month, can you believe it? Stay tuned for more trends this time from Paris Fashion Week. Do you have a favorite trend from Milan? Tell us!
