NYFW Runway Report: Michael Costello Fall 2017
Sex appeal sells. Period. For Fall 2017, Michael Costello gave us just that – an uber sexy, sultry vixen who is also the coolest chick around. She likes rock’n’roll AND disco, she is charismatic and extravagant. The Michael Costello Fall 2017 collection was an ode to her.
There was exaggerated fringe, floral appliqués and dramatic sleeves. There were sheer gowns, lace and a hint of romanticism. And then there was an incredible, bedazzled black jumpsuit with a deep V screaming for Sunday’s Grammys. And a couple of white lace gowns with exaggerated, theatrical sleeves.
