NYFW Runway Report: Son Jung Wan Fall 2017
It was all about the Eighties for Son Jung Wan Fall 2017, exaggerated coats and bold colors included. Many things worked, namely all the velvet ensembles, as well as the monochromatic shaggy coat paired with a glam 80s jumpsuit. Wan paired different textures like velvet with patent leather, and plaid with fur, which didn’t translate well and seamed a bit forced. Wan also showed coordinating men’s looks, which in my opinion, always takes away from a cohesiveness of a womenswear collection.
