Our Spring 2023 Fashion Trends Report is Here
In with the light dresses, out with the heavy layers and coats! Spring has finally sprung! At least, astronomically speaking. Sartorially speaking, it means we have a slew of new spring 2023 fashion trends to look forward to and stock (or, restock) on missing pieces in our wardrobes.
So, without further ado here are the only spring 2023 fashion trends you should invest your money in. Plus, a few suggested places to shop!
Elevated Basics
It is no secret at this point that investing in a smart, simple, basic and elevated wardrobe that will carry you though the years is your best bet to timeless fashion. And designers solidified the notion by making the elevated basics one of the most prominent spring 2023 fashion trends. Crisp trousers, chic trench coats, clean-cut shirts, satin maxi dresses, elevated suits are items we all should invest in this season.
Bring on the Metallics
If it’s shiny and metallic, it’s in. This is one of the loudest spring 2023 fashion trends, which is less about full sequin looks and more about adding liquid shine and turning the simplest of everyday items into styles to standout in. Think pairing a metallic skirt with a crisp, white shirt; or, and all white outfit with a cool metallic loafer. And if it tickles your fancy, go all out in a full metallic ensamble. The possibilities are endless!
Looser Denim
Wider, looser denim silhouettes were definitely inspired by Fall’s more relaxed trousers, making it one of our favorite spring 2023 fashion trends. [Read: no skinny jeans, please!] From high-waisted, darker-wash flares to the effortless take on the Canadian tuxedo, looser-fit denim is absolutely a trend we hope stays beyond this season.
XL Bags
Yes, the time of the teeeny-tiny bags has come to a fortunate end. Enter, extra large handbags that carry everything you need and more. From Loewe to Bottega Veneta and Chloé the resurgence of the large bag is finally here and we couldn’t be happier about it.
Key Lime Green
If there’s one color you choose to wear come warmer weather, let it be key lime green. The color brightened many a runway — if not most — and designers put together entire green outfits, brought in the color in separates, and showed us how to wear bright green dresses. This spring 2023 fashion trends is fun, bright and happy!
