Top Resort 2017 Trends
The Resort 2017 collections have rolled out, and if we know anything about them it is the fact that many of the top Resort 2017 trends will most likely make an appearance in the main collections come September. We also know that all the new resort trends will stick around in stores the most, so you may as well know what to buy. Â Read on for the top Resort 2017 trends below and start prepping for the new season.
Logo T-shirts
What’s in a name? Everything. Designers are once again logo crazy and this time, they stamped their signatures on T-shirts. Our favorites come from Chanel, Gucci and See by Chloé below.
Viva America
Feeling patriotic? Â You should because patriotism is trending, fashionably speaking obviously. Â The red, white and blue motif never looked better, as demonstrated by Belstaff, I’m Isola Marras and Sass & Bide.
Bombers Stay Strong
Bombers were literally everywhere for Resort so we couldn’t go without name-checking this trend. We saw various interpretations of the embellished bomber and love what Coach, Fendi and Cynthia Rowley had to offer.
Flares
Is there any ’70s motif that designers left unturned? Yes, yes there is – the flares. Â Use your own discretion wether you want to dive into this trend, because it is an acquired taste, Â although what we saw from Cinq a Sept, Marco de Vicenzo and Versace is making us think twice about this trend.
Dress Over Pants
Layering a dress over pants has surprisingly emerged as one of the top Resort 2017 trends thanks to designers like Ellery, Jill Stuart and Cedric Charlier, who all  showed the styling trick in their collections.  Will this new silhouette stick through the Spring 2017 season? We’ll have to wait and see.
Tiered Dresses
One of the more feminine top resort 2017 trends, soft tiered dresses are for those who can’t resist a twirl. Some of our favorite looks come from Gimaba, Zac Zac Posen and Prabal Gurung.
Striped Pants
Bold horizontal stripe pants lengthened the silhouettes of many, and we couldn’t be happier. Just be sure to pick a wider pair, as opposed to a skinny, just like the ones we see at Edun, Adam Lippes and Milly.
