Top Spring Trends 2019 to See and Shop Now
Spring is finally here, and we are beyond ready to break out all the floras and pastels. But before we start planning out which new pieces we want to add to our closets, let’s take a note of the top spring trends 2019.
90s Sandals
The barely there 90s sandals have really made an impact on the runways with designers dressing them up, down and in between. You can pick any color you want too, so long as it is with a lower heel and simple straps. A few suggestions after the jump.
So Much Tie-Dye
Tie-dye popped everywhere during the spring shows. Calvin Klein, Prada and Dior all showed iterations of the fabric and Stella McCartney put it on everything, including the boiler suit below. Get inspired from the runways and forgo the familiar tie-dyed tee in favor of a more unexpected psychedelic print — on ladylike mules, say, or on a top-handle bag.
Crochet
Crochet fabric is not only comfy but also statement-making. Designers stayed away from the bohemian effect and produced cooler pieces, like the all-crochet dress from Oscar de la Renta below.
Sweet Cardigans
Vests
If you need to pick your outerwear option for spring, let it be the vest. They are oversized and with extra pockets, layered up over day dresses, paired with shorts, or worn boho style.
All of the Beige
Also called “contemporary oatmeal” or “stony ground” the spring runways wanted us to be more beige. Riccardo Tisci reimagined Burberry in 50 shades of classic-trench-coat color, and the hue also showed at Max Mara and Balmain. Head-to-toe is how the internationally sleek will be wearing it this year.
