The 95th annual Oscars were held last night at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles, California. The star-studded ceremony celebrated the year’s best performances on film and was hosted by comedian Jimmy Kimmel, who assumed the role for the third time.
But, fashion before trophies, right? After all, the celebs are fully aware that the Academy Awards are one of the world’s most-watched red carpet events. And most of them did not disappoint. Rihanna dazzled both on the red carpet and onstage, where she delivered a powerful rendition of her ballad “Lift Me Up” in a custom Margiela outfit. Lady Gaga made a fashion statement by wearing two contrasting looks, including a Versace gown fresh off the runway on the red carpet and a stripped-down, makeup-free look on stage.
