The Paris Fashion Week Fall 2018 Trends Worth Your Time
OK, guys. The final stretch of yet another fashion month concluded, and now that you know what trends came from New York, London and Milan, we are here to wrap things up with a final break down of the Paris Fashion Week Fall 2018 trends worth your time.
Volume
Giant, voluminous coats were big on the Parisian runways. Balenciaga, Maison Margiela and Miu Miu all showed their versions of the trend, with multi layers of XXL toppers being most prominent.
Yellow Plaid
It’s already a well-known fact that plaid is here to stay and will be still a major trend throughout 2018. In Paris however, plaid pieces came in all shades of yellow: think Cher Horowitz in Clueless 🙂 We are not here to complain.
Security Blankets
Big, fluffy, warm blankets were wrapped around many a body in Paris. Some of the best takes come from Alexander McQueen, Off-White and Lamaire. The trend was most likely resurrected due to the fact that we need clothes to protect, empower and comfort women. Especially in this day and age, no?
The Glorious 80s
Back in the 80s, the more is more sentiment ruled fashion. More than 25 years later, designers re-imagined the decade with lest opulence but just enough punch. Long live the 80s trend: big shoulders, punk hair and lots of shine for the win!
And just like that, Fashion Month Fall 2018 month is OVAH.
